| I'm actually pretty stoked about what I got accomplished this weekend.
On Saturday, I went out and got a whiteboard. I've started listing the
things I want get accomplished each day and give them a priority of 1
or 2. I work to get all of my 1's done each day, though that doesn't
always work, then work to pick up the 2's. I think this method really
works for me. I feel challenged to try to knock everything off the
list. I've done this before, by buying an organizer, but it was easy to
put out of sight and mind. This, though, is set on my dresser where I
can't miss it. So, hopefully I've managed to get things on track.

| Man, I had some of the most fun I've had in a while tonight. I headed
back from lab a bit early and came across Josh Simmons, Tim Turner and
a few others in the hall. They were recruiting for dodgeball. I thought
it was for Honors, so I agreed to step in. When I got there I found out
it wasn't, it was an independent team, but I decided to stick around
and I'm glad I did. We ended up winning 2 of our 3 matches in best of 5
series. I turned out to be one of the best throwers on the team. I have
to admit that hitting the members of the opposing team was quite
satisfying. Afterward I found it necessary to ice my shoulder and I
ended up joining James and Snook in watching V for Vendetta. Well,
that's about it. Tomorrow I have soccer practice and a second round of
dodgeball. Yay.

| Well, I've had a very productive day today. I got up and did my ecology
oberservations. Our lab group in ecology is doing a study on the number
and types of birds that use the boder area between the forest and the
prairie as opposed to the prairie. My next action was to skip ecology
in order to take a nap. I felt kind of bad, I've made it pretty much a
habit to skip the class once a week, but apparently today the lecture
was a review. Well, my next accomplishment was that I called the Navy
officer recruiter back. I contacted the Navy last week about possibly
joining the Navy via OCS. Well I managed to set up a meeting with him
tomorrow. I'm starting to think that I will probably join the Navy.
Though, it may very well give me an opportunity to work in an
experimental dolphin program. Next, I managed to take care of all of my
Tresurer responsibilities. I made a deposit to the cashiers, without
getting griped at (seriously, this is an accomplishment) and filled out
all the disbursement forms I needed to. After class, I got myself a
haircut in anticipation of my meeting with the recruiter, then went out
to my house to pick up some nicer clothes to wear for my meeting. I
also got my butt over to the HPER tonight and did a rather good
workout, something I'll need to do more often to get back in shape. I
was pretty proud of my day, I feel like I got a lot accomplished. Well,
that's about it.

| Well, what is definitely one of my least favorite days of the year has
come to an end. For those of you keeping score, likely no one, this is
single Valentine's Day number 21 for me. I really don't like this
holiday, though I imagine I would if I had someone to spend it with. I
will admit though, this one turned out better than most. Tonight was
our first band concert of this semester. In one of our songs, Courtly
Airs and Dances, I had a solo. Well, in the past my history with solos
hasn't been that great. I've mangaged to play them just well enough
that I wasn't told not to play them during the concert, but when
concert time came around I generally didn't play them as well as I did
in rehersal. Well, today that ended. I started my solo and it was
great. Well, I flubbed one or two notes and started to become nervous.
The difference was that instead of giving in to my nerves, this time I
fought them. I resolved to finish the solo off without totally messing
it up. That made all the difference in the world. Well, after that I
came back to the dorm to chill. I mixed up some drinks and I'm typing
my post out now buzzed. It feels awesome. Well, that's about it. C-ya.

| Though this is quite sad, I have to post it. Jeremy and I put too much
work into it for it not to be posted somewhere. We spent, easily, over
an hour hashing out who we would cast were the Thrawn trilogy of Star
Wars books (If you've read them good for you, if not, you should so
that you can appreciate this post to its fullest extent.) to be made
into movies. We pretty well agreed on all of them, some of them we
probably wouldn't have any other person play them. So, here goes.
Luke Skywalker: Matt Damon
Leia Organa Solo: Kiera Knightley
Han Solo: Nathan Fillion (Mal off of Serenity)
Grand Admiral Thrawn: Jeremy Irons
Captain Pallaeon: William Hurt
Talon Karrde: George Clooney
Mara Jade: Mila Jovavich
Lando Calrissian: Chiwetel Ejiofor (The Operative off of Serenity)
Garm bel Iblis: Patrick Stewart
Mon Mothma: Cate Blanchett
Joruus C'Baoth: Ian McKellan
Wedge Antilles: Jamie Bamber (Apollo from Battlestar Galactica)
Borsk Fey'lya: Hugo Weaving
Well, there's the list we came up with. Definitely wouldn't be cheap. Feel free to comment.
